Our challenge
As an Angular Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building high-quality web applications. You will work primarily with Angular (70% of the time) to create user-friendly interfaces, while also utilizing your Java skills (30% of the time) to support back-end development. Your expertise will help enhance our products and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled withinNYC is 125-135k /year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Angular Development (70%):
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using Angular.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Angular.
- Java Development (30%):
- Assist in developing and maintaining back-end services using Java.
- Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write and maintain APIs to support front-end functionalities.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in both front-end and back-end systems.
- Participate in the design and architecture of back-end components.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Angular Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Proficiency in Java programming with experience in back-end development.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with additional frameworks/libraries (e.g., NgRx, Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
